ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE - A morning filled with dreams of soaring over Jurassic Park was met with swift opposition when a Port St Lucie man was denied his flight privileges on Pteranodon Flyers at Universal's Islands of Adventure on the morning of Friday November 2nd. "I was shocked" states Timothy Jenkins about the denied entry he experienced while on vacation with his parents. "I couldn't believe the blatant unabashed discrimination. I felt 3 feet tall. Mostly because I am".
Timmy Jenkins (an adult man) identifies as a 10 year old boy and believes that based on this, his right to ride Pteranodon Flyers should ultimately be upheld by the park. For anyone unaware, Pteranodon Flyers is a suspended coaster ride that requires any adults to be accompanied by a child due to "weight" and "capacity" constraints.
Universal security representatives confirmed to RPN that they've had a recent influx of what they refer to as "Reverse Little Rascals" incidents of adults trying to pass themselves off as children in order to partake in the attraction.
"Yeah, we get it all the time. The people come in, they wanna ride it but rules are rules. They're in place for safety and capacity...I guess. I'm not really sure I'm just doing what I'm told. And that's to keep these grown ass people off the dinosaur bird ride." states a UOR security guard who wished to remain nameless. "Is it the best ride in the park? Maybe? I dunno. I'll probably never know, and neither will you. Because we're adults."
Lil' Tim Tim Jenkins assures us he is not deterred. At the time of our interview with him on November 2nd shortly after the incident, he expressed his plans to take his concerns to guest services. As of this posting we hear he only has 4 people ahead of him. We'll be sure to provide any updates as we receive them.
