Six Flags Over Georgia Introduces Park-Wide Peanut Based Menu

ATLANTA, GA - Atlanta based "Six Flags Over Georgia" announced today that they will be introducing a new park-wide entirely Peanut Based menu. The new menu will feature notable items such as Peanut Butter Milkshakes, Peanut Butter cookies, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and other treats.

"Well, we were trying to do something to commemorate how important the peanut industry has been to the development of Georgia." States Mike Perri, Six Flags Over Georgia merchandising director. "But holy shit what terrible timing."

Since the announcement, the park has been met with tons of discourse from the theme park community for what appears to be a shameless capitalization on the divisive issue of the removal of peanut based items due to allergen reasons from menus at theme parks across the country.

"We honestly considered pulling the new menu options. But our park president said his wife's second cousin has a peanut allergy and that you can just power through that if you really want to. I tried to tell him that's not how allergies work and that people will probably die."

The new menu is expected to last through Q3 2019, wrapping up when the "Six Flags Shrimp and Pollen Festival" begins in the Fall.
