UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT - News out of Universal this week shows that guests at the resort’s more thrilling attractions are being encouraged to swallow their bags and loose articles before entering the queue. The new measure is intended to prevent theft of items by keeping them with guests while also having them stowed away.
RPN contacted Universal PR for comment. “We know most bags and items are too large to swallow comfortably, but we see no other way to make our guests feel their items are truly safe. If you don’t want to eat your stuff, we are still offering our large lockers for $2 rentals and our standard size lockers for free, but at that point you might as well just chomp down on your wands, you know?”
Guest reaction to the policy has been unpopular, with some guests resorting to dressing their items as children and leaving them in the child swap.
To help make swallowing things more pleasant, a condiment bar has been placed in the locker area.
